Yard waste can be dropped off in a Dumpster by the wastewater treatment plant behind Emmitsburg Glass on Creamery Rd between 0900 and 1200 on the first and third Saturdays of the month through November.   http://www.emmitsburgmd.gov/public_works/recycling_information/index.php
